Koh-I-Noor Contemporary Care is a newly redeveloped 80 room facility offering permanent and respite accommodation for its residents. Providing exceptional accommodation and high quality residential Aged Care services in the suburb of Wembley, Koh-I-Noor Contemporary Care offers a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere, providing an attractive home for our residents and their loved ones who visit. Residents have access to several communal areas, inclusive of serene internal and external courtyards and several dining and lounge areas with exquisite furnishings and décor.

Part of the ground floor comprises of rooms located in a secured section of the facility. This area is dedicated to residents requiring a more secure environment ensuring their individualised needs are met. All rooms provide spacious accommodation options aimed to meet the needs and requirements of each resident.

Our residents have access to a registered nurse 24 hours a day in addition to attentive enrolled nurses and resident support attendants. The resident-centred care we provide is of high standard and focused on each resident’s needs.

Residents receive assistance with the activities of daily living, such as:

  • Personal care: bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Continence management.
  • Assistance with meals and drinks.
  • Mobility and rehabilitation assistance.
  • Management of medication.
  • Specialised nursing care.
  • Palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Dementia specialist with secure area.
  • Lifestyle preferences and spiritual needs.

All residents receive specified care and services in line with legislative requirements as a minimum.

Tue & Thu 1pm – 7pm

In line with State Health Directions, all visitors entering Residential Aged Care Facilities must be vaccinated with the current influenza (flu) vaccine prior to entry. Appropriate evidence of immunisation will be required from all visitors. Appropriate evidence may be: a statement or record from a health care practitioner, an immunisation history statement available from Medicare online or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
